## What it is
Custom firmware (CFW) for the Xiaomi Dafang, Xiaofang 1S, Wyzecam V2/Pan, and other Ingenic T10/T20-based IP cameras. It replaces the stock cloud-dependent firmware with an open, self-hosted one supporting RTSP, ONVIF, motion detection, and home automation integrations.

## Use cases
- unlock a Xiaomi Dafang camera to stream RTSP locally
- use a Wyzecam V2 without the cloud in Home Assistant
- add ONVIF support to a cheap IP camera for Synology Surveillance Station
- run custom scripts on camera motion detection
- flash custom firmware on an Ingenic T20 camera
- integrate a Dafang camera with HomeKit or ZoneMinder

## When to choose
- you own a supported T10/T20 camera and want local, cloud-free control
- you want RTSP/ONVIF streaming into your NVR or smart home hub
- you want to run your own scripts and services on the camera

## When to avoid
- your camera has the newer T20L chipset and you need guaranteed stability (beta only)
- your camera firmware is too new and blocks the hack
- you have an ARM-based classic Xiaofang (use fang-hacks instead)
- you are not comfortable flashing firmware that can brick the device
