## What it is
WTF (soon to be renamed Tessera) is a personal information dashboard for the terminal, built in Go. It displays at-a-glance stats and data from dozens of modules such as calendars, Git/GitHub repos, Jira tickets, OpsGenie schedules, and system info in a configurable TUI.

## Use cases
- show a personal dashboard in my terminal
- monitor github repos and jira tickets from the command line
- see my calendar and todo list in a terminal tui
- glance at system stats and services without leaving the shell
- build a customizable terminal dashboard with widgets
- track deployments and on-call schedules in the terminal

## When to choose
- you want a highly configurable terminal dashboard with many prebuilt data modules
- you live in the terminal and want at-a-glance info without opening a browser
- you want a free, open-source, actively maintained TUI app

## When to avoid
- you need a web-based or graphical dashboard
- you need a library to embed dashboard widgets in your own Go app
- you need real-time heavy monitoring with alerting rather than glanceable info
