## What it is
WiFi Ducky is a Wi-Fi controlled BadUSB device built from an ESP8266 and ATmega32U4 that uploads, saves, and remotely executes Ducky Script keystroke injection payloads via a web interface. It emulates a USB keyboard on a target machine, similar to the Hak5 USB Rubber Ducky but with remote Wi-Fi control.

## Use cases
- remotely execute ducky script payloads over wifi
- build a diy badusb keystroke injection device with esp8266
- upload and manage ducky scripts from a web interface
- turn an atmega32u4 arduino into a wifi-controlled rubber ducky
- run keystroke injection attacks remotely for pentesting demos
- host payloads on an esp8266 and trigger them wirelessly

## When to choose
- you want a cheap DIY alternative to the USB Rubber Ducky with remote Wi-Fi control
- you already have an ESP8266 and ATmega32U4 and want to flash a ready-made firmware
- you need to upload, store, and run Ducky Scripts from a browser over Wi-Fi

## When to avoid
- you want the actively developed successor — use spacehuhn/WiFiDuck instead
- you need a plug-and-play commercial device rather than a DIY hardware build
- you need USB HID injection without Wi-Fi or without soldering hardware together
