## What it is
StealthChanger is an open-source automatic tool changing system for Voron 3D printers and other front-mount toolhead motion systems, combining printed mechanical parts (shuttle, backplates, docks) with Klipper configuration macros written in Python. It supports many toolheads including StealthBurner, Dragon Burner, XOL, and Yavoth, using a simplified bushing-and-pin design for rigidity and ease of assembly.

## Use cases
- add automatic multi-tool changing to a Voron 3D printer
- swap between multiple toolheads like stealthburner and XOL without manual intervention
- build a cheaper and lighter alternative to Tapchanger
- set up tool docks and calibrate toolchanger offsets in Klipper
- print multi-material or multi-nozzle parts with automatic tool switching

## When to choose
- you run Klipper on a Voron or similar front-mount printer and want automatic tool changes
- you want a lightweight, low-parts-count toolchanger compatible with many popular toolheads
- you prefer easily replaceable printed parts and bushings over bearing-based designs

## When to avoid
- you use a printer without a front-mount toolhead motion system
- you need a fully commercial, off-the-shelf toolchanger with vendor support
- you run printer firmware other than Klipper
