## What it is
RapidEFI is a free, offline GUI tool for configuring, auto-generating, and maintaining OpenCore EFI folders for Hackintosh (macOS on PC) setups. It visualizes the OpenCore/Dortania configuration workflow, generates base EFIs from hardware info, customizes SSDTs, and supports post-generation editing of config.plist.

## Use cases
- generate an OpenCore EFI automatically from my hardware
- configure config.plist without manual editing
- check macOS compatibility of my PC hardware
- create custom SSDTs from ACPI tables
- edit and maintain an existing Hackintosh EFI
- set up graphics device spoofing and audio layout for Hackintosh

## When to choose
- you are installing macOS on Intel/AMD PC hardware with OpenCore
- you want a visual, guided alternative to hand-editing config.plist
- you need to generate a baseline EFI quickly and refine it later

## When to avoid
- you need a guaranteed one-click bootable macOS install on any hardware
- you run real Macs or Apple Silicon
- you require fully unattended automated Hackintosh deployment pipelines
