## What it is
Popcorn Time is a cross-platform streaming discovery app that aggregates movies and TV shows from 800+ streaming platforms into a single browsable catalog. It is a complete Tauri-based rebuild (React/TypeScript frontend, Rust backend) that also supports local media playback and publishes its catalog as weekly Parquet datasets.
