## What it is
Popcorn Time was a desktop application that let users stream movies directly from torrent sources (via YIFY and the peerflix Node.js module) with metadata from TheMovieDB and subtitles from OpenSubtitles. It was built on node-webkit and was officially discontinued in March 2014.
