## What it is
Atlas is a native macOS workspace and source-control layer for coding agents, linking every commit to the agent session, prompts, tool calls, and reasoning that produced it. It lets you run Claude Code, Codex, and ACP-registry agents side by side on the same codebase with shared on-device memory and knowledge files.
