## What it is
OctoFriend is a zero-telemetry, terminal-based AI coding assistant that works with any OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible LLM API, including local models. It supports mid-conversation model switching, custom-trained autofix models for tool call and code edit failures, web search, and resumable per-directory sessions.
