## What it is
Nanobot is a standalone, open-source MCP host written in Go that combines MCP servers with an LLM to build agent experiences, configurable via a single nanobot.yaml file or directory of markdown agent files. It is now in maintenance mode, with its MCP client/proxy/multiplexer functionality replaced by the official MCP Go SDK and the mmmcp project.
