## What it is
WebMCP (MCP-B) is a protocol and TypeScript SDK that exposes JavaScript functions in web pages to LLMs as MCP tools, via a Chrome extension and npm transports. The API has been accepted as a W3C deliverable and this repository is now maintained for historical reference, with development moved to the WebMCP explainer and org repositories.
