## What it is
MFCUK is a C-based command-line toolkit for recovering cryptographic keys from MIFARE Classic RFID cards using the Darkside attack, built on libnfc. It implements published academic attacks against the Crypto1 cipher used by MIFARE Classic cards.

## Use cases
- recover mifare classic keys with darkside attack
- audit rfid card security
- clone mifare classic access cards
- test nfc reader with libnfc
- research crypto1 cipher vulnerabilities

## When to choose
- you need open-source MIFARE Classic key recovery via the Darkside attack
- you work with libnfc-compatible NFC readers on Linux or similar
- you are doing security research on legacy RFID cards

## When to avoid
- you need to work with modern DESFire or NTAG cards
- you want a GUI tool
- you need mfoc-style nested attack only (use mfoc instead)
