## What it is
Magic MCP is a legacy compatibility proxy package that forwards MCP requests to the unified 21st MCP server, which lets AI coding agents like Cursor, Claude Code, and Windsurf search a catalog of 10,000+ React/Tailwind components and generate new UI with AI. The old @21st-dev/magic stdio proxy keeps existing mcp.json configs working while new users should install via the 21st CLI.
