## What it is
LocoAgent is an AI-powered social media agent that autonomously operates real accounts through genuine browser automation via Chrome DevTools Protocol, using your actual Chrome profile and login sessions. It is a fork of the Claude Code CLI source tree, re-purposed with an LLM-driven agentic loop, platform skill playbooks, a deterministic workflow engine, task scheduling, and an Ink/React terminal UI.

## Use cases
- automate liking, replying, and following on X/Twitter with a real browser session
- schedule autonomous social media posting and engagement tasks
- run multi-step social media workflows driven by an LLM agent
- avoid headless-browser detection by automating through my real Chrome profile
- monitor and audit what an AI agent did on my social accounts
- build custom platform playbooks for automating a social network

## When to choose
- you want autonomous social media engagement that uses your real browser cookies and fingerprint
- you need an agentic loop with skills, workflows, scheduling, and an operation log out of the box
- you prefer a CLI/terminal tool running on Bun across Windows, macOS, and Linux

## When to avoid
- you need official-API-based posting at scale for enterprise social media management
- you want a GUI or hosted SaaS rather than a local CLI agent
- automating accounts may violate the target platform's terms of service
- you need a lightweight library to embed in your own app rather than a standalone agent
