## What it is
Keptn is an event-based control plane for cloud-native application lifecycle orchestration, automating SLO-driven multi-stage delivery and automated operations/remediation on Kubernetes. Keptn V1 reached end of life on December 22nd, 2023 and has been replaced by the Keptn Lifecycle Toolkit (keptn/lifecycle-toolkit).
