## What it is
A Python package and CLI (jt) that applies custom CSS themes to classic Jupyter Notebooks, with configurable fonts, colors, syntax highlighting, and matching matplotlib plotting styles. The project is officially no longer supported, with successor themes available for JupyterLab.

## Use cases
- apply a dark theme to jupyter notebook
- change jupyter notebook fonts and colors
- customize jupyter notebook css
- make matplotlib plots match my notebook theme
- style pandas dataframes in jupyter
- install jupyter notebook themes via pip

## When to choose
- You use classic Jupyter Notebook (5.6+) and want quick, polished dark or light themes
- You want notebook styling that also adjusts matplotlib plot aesthetics
- You prefer a simple CLI to toggle and reset themes

## When to avoid
- You use JupyterLab - use the author's JupyterLab theme packages instead
- You need actively maintained software with new notebook version compatibility
- You need support or bug fixes, since the project is no longer supported
