# questflowai/investorskills

Investor Skills is an open-source library that turns durable investing judgment into portable, structured formats. It collects how great investors think, filter opportunities, size risk, and act under uncertainty — then structures those patterns so humans can study them and AI finance agents can apply them.

## What it is
An open-source library of portable, plain-text 'investor skill' packages (SKILL.md files plus investment schemas) that encode the judgment of great investors — opportunity filtering, risk sizing, and decision playbooks — for use by AI finance agents. Built as the open skill layer for the Questflow AI finance agent, but usable in any agent harness that reads markdown instructions such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.

## Use cases
- give an AI finance agent structured investing judgment
- load investor trading strategies into Claude Code or Cursor
- study how great investors filter opportunities and size risk
- build a custom AI investment framework from skill templates
- add risk rules and invalidation playbooks to a trading agent
- find reading lists and podcasts to learn investing mental models

## When to choose
- you want free, portable, human-readable skill files for AI agents rather than a locked trading bot
- you use Questflow or a compatible agent harness and want to extend it with investing strategies
- you want structured templates and schemas to author your own investor skills

## When to avoid
- you need a ready-to-run backtesting or trade-execution engine — this repo ships judgment content, not code
- you require execution-grade, trade-labeled strategies, which are closed-source and paid inside Questflow
- you expect financial advice or guaranteed returns — the skills are educational/agent-instruction material
