## What it is
Iaitō is a Qt and C++ graphical user interface for the radare2 reverse engineering framework, aimed at users who find radare2's CLI too difficult. The project has been moved to radareorg/cutter and is no longer maintained here.

## Use cases
- analyze binaries with a gui instead of radare2 cli
- disassemble and reverse engineer executables
- learn reverse engineering without a steep cli learning curve
- inspect disassembly of malware samples

## When to choose
- you want a graphical front-end for radare2 and are using the original archived code for historical reference

## When to avoid
- you want an actively maintained tool - use radareorg/cutter instead
- you need a stable release - this was an unstable alpha
- you prefer cli-based reverse engineering workflows

## Facets
- artifact type: application
- maturity: abandoned
- function: gui, reverse-engineering, developer-tools
- domain: reverse-engineering, security, developer-tools
- platform: windows, cpp, cross-platform
- tags: radare2, qt5, disassembler, binary-analysis, moved-to-cutter, linux, macos
