## What it is
HedgeDoc (formerly CodiMD) is an open-source, self-hosted, web-based collaborative markdown editor supporting real-time co-editing, diagrams, and reveal.js presentations. Version 1.x is stable and in maintenance while a complete rewrite (HedgeDoc 2) is under active development.
