## What it is
GreptimeDB is an open-source (Apache-2.0) observability database written in Rust that stores metrics, logs, and traces in a single columnar engine built on object storage (S3, GCS, Azure Blob). It supports OpenTelemetry, Prometheus Remote Write, PromQL, Loki, Elasticsearch, and InfluxDB ingestion, plus SQL, MySQL/PostgreSQL wire protocols, and Grafana dashboards.
