## What it is
EspoTek Labrador is the open-source software (Qt desktop app plus AVR firmware) for a low-cost USB board that turns a PC, Raspberry Pi, or Android device into an all-in-one electronics lab. It provides an oscilloscope, arbitrary waveform generator, power supply, logic analyzer, and multimeter through a single interface.

## Use cases
- view waveforms with a cheap USB oscilloscope
- generate arbitrary test signals for circuit debugging
- decode serial protocols with a logic analyzer
- measure voltage, current, resistance, and capacitance
- power breadboard circuits from a USB-controlled supply
- set up a portable electronics lab on a Raspberry Pi or Android phone

## When to choose
- you need an affordable, portable all-in-one test instrument
- you want fully open-source hardware and software you can modify
- you are a student or hobbyist learning electronics
- you want lab tools running on Linux, Raspberry Pi, or Android

## When to avoid
- you need high-bandwidth, high-precision professional measurements
- you require many channels or high sample rates beyond 750ksps
- you need certified calibration for production testing
