## What it is
Crowi is an open-source, self-hosted Markdown wiki application for team knowledge sharing, originally released in 2014. Its v2 'Reignite' rewrite (currently in alpha) rebuilds the stack on Hono + Next.js 16 with real-time collaborative editing, an embedded MCP server for AI agents, and a pluggable storage/search/auth architecture while keeping v1 MongoDB data compatibility.
