collectd is a lightweight daemon written in C that periodically collects system and application performance metrics and stores or forwards them via a wide range of plugins. It runs on nearly any POSIX system, including embedded devices, and supports outputs like RRDtool, Graphite, InfluxDB, Kafka, and Prometheus.
