## What it is
Colanode is an open-source, local-first collaboration workspace combining real-time chat, rich-text pages/wikis, customizable databases, and file sharing as a self-hostable Slack and Notion alternative. Clients (Electron desktop and web) store data in local SQLite and sync via CRDTs (Yjs) to a self-hosted Node.js/Fastify server backed by Postgres, Redis, and S3-compatible storage.
