## What it is
CCS is a TypeScript CLI tool that manages multiple AI provider profiles and accounts for Claude Code and compatible CLIs, switching between Claude subscriptions, Codex, GLM, Kimi, OpenRouter, Ollama, and other providers via a CLIProxyAPI OAuth proxy. It includes a visual web dashboard, Docker deployment, and OpenAI-compatible routing through a local Anthropic-compatible proxy.

## Use cases
- switch between multiple claude accounts without logging out
- run claude code with glm or kimi for cost savings
- route claude code to openrouter models
- manage work and personal ai cli profiles separately
- avoid session limits by running providers in parallel
- use local ollama models with claude code
- set up an anthropic-compatible proxy for openai-compatible providers

## When to choose
- you use Claude Code or Codex CLI with multiple accounts or providers
- you want cost-optimized fallbacks like GLM alongside Claude subscriptions
- you need isolated work/personal AI contexts with zero config thrash
- you want a dashboard and Docker deployment for proxy management

## When to avoid
- you only use a single AI provider and never switch accounts
- you need Qwen Code account linking, which is not yet supported in the bundled CLIProxy runtime
- you want a general-purpose LLM gateway rather than a profile switcher for coding CLIs
