## What it is
BrowserSkill is a CLI (`bsk`) plus browser extension that lets shell-capable AI agents like Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex control your real, logged-in Chrome or Edge browser. Agent tasks run in a separate Agent Window with explicit tab borrowing and human-in-the-loop handoff for captchas and logins.

## Use cases
- let an AI agent automate tasks in my logged-in browser
- have Claude Code or Cursor fill forms on sites I'm signed into
- run browser automation without a separate test account
- let an agent use a tab I already have open
- handle captcha or login steps during agent browser tasks
- control Chrome from any shell-capable AI agent

## When to choose
- you want agents to reuse your real login state instead of test accounts
- you use any shell-capable agent and want browser control without vendor lock-in
- you need human-in-the-loop takeover for captchas and confirmations
- you want agent browser work isolated in a separate window

## When to avoid
- you need headless browser automation on servers
- you rely on Firefox, which is not yet supported
- you need a pure Playwright/Puppeteer-style scraping API without a local browser
