## What it is
Audiveris is an open-source Optical Music Recognition (OMR) application that transcribes scanned sheet music images into symbolic music data. It combines an OMR engine (using OCR, template matching, and neural networks) with an interactive editor for correcting recognition errors, and exports results to MusicXML.
