## What it is
Airsonic is a free, web-based media streamer for personal music (and video) collections, forked from Subsonic via Libresonic. It supports on-the-fly transcoding of virtually any audio format, multi-player simultaneous streaming, bitrate limiting, and an integrated podcast receiver. The project is no longer maintained; users should migrate to Airsonic-Advanced.
