## What it is
AI Anywhere is a local bridge service and web UI that surfaces AI coding agent sessions running in tmux (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) in any desktop or mobile browser. A shell installer sets up a CLI and local server bound to 127.0.0.1, while this repository hosts the product site, React dashboard, device authorization, and Cloudflare Worker deployment.

## Use cases
- monitor claude code and codex agents running in tmux from my browser
- check on ai coding agent tasks from my phone
- manage multiple tmux sessions across local and ssh hosts in one web ui
- get notified when a cli agent pauses and needs input
- track subagent tasks separately in a browser dashboard
- attach to remote server tmux sessions without an ssh terminal relay
- authorize devices and manage api keys for a local agent bridge

## When to choose
- you run AI coding CLIs inside tmux and want browser/mobile access without migrating sessions
- you want terminal traffic to stay local (127.0.0.1) with no hosted terminal relay
- you need one workspace spanning local machines and existing SSH hosts
- you want attention-based task tracking and auto-retry for agent CLIs

## When to avoid
- you need a fully hosted terminal service with no local install
- you don't use tmux or Node.js 22.5+ (both are required)
- you need desktop native apps today (they are still in development)
- you want a fully open-source stack - the repo has no license and core CLI lives elsewhere
